Tara Reedy

Tara Reedy

Tara Reedy is the definition of a true servant—quiet, faithful, and full of tender strength. She serves with a heart that overflows with compassion, generosity, and quiet obedience to the Lord. While she may not seek the spotlight, her presence is deeply felt. Whether she’s lending a helping hand behind the scenes or offering a kind word in a quiet moment, Tara brings the love of Jesus into every space she enters.

She is soft-spoken and gentle, yet powerful in Spirit. Her smile radiates warmth and kindness, and when you’re in her presence, you know you’re loved. Tara carries a quiet authority—a calm strength that speaks volumes without needing many words. She is strong, courageous and deeply thoughtful. Tara desires to please the Lord in all she does.

She and her husband Bruce serve together on the Pastoral Team at Word Alive International Outreach. As recent empty nesters, they’ve embraced this new season with grace and joy, still finding ways to pour out love through service. Whether they’re handing out lunches on Family Day or offering care to someone in need, they do it wholeheartedly and with humility.

Tara is passionate about seeing families and marriages restored and the brokenhearted healed. Marriage is a sacred gift from God, and He restored her marriage nine years ago. The road to recovery was hard but well worth it. She truly believes marriage should speak something deeper than ourselves — it should represent Jesus’ love for His sons and daughters.

She loves being a wife, a mom, and a Mimi. Tara has been married for 27 years and together with Bruce, they have four sons, four grandsons, two granddaughters, and three daughter-in-laws. She treasures every opportunity to spend time with family and to plant spiritual seeds that will help them grow in their journey with the Lord.

Tara enjoys intimate time with God and loves to worship while cooking, filling her kitchen with worship music. She loves helping others see things from a heavenly perspective and not from beneath. Some of her hobbies include spending time with family, hiking with her husband, and enjoying church community gatherings.

Tara works in a public housing facility where she encounters many broken people. She seizes every opportunity to pray for them, offer help, and be a vessel of God’s grace. She uses her job as a ministry to women who need healing and hope. One of her favorite quotes from Bill Johnson is, “We have to wash someone’s feet until we know why they walk the way they do.” Tara lives by this truth, seeing every encounter as divine, nothing by chance.

She is deeply grateful for the beauty of God’s grace and mercy in her life. Because of what she has been through in her marriage and life, Tara understands the love of God at a very deep level and joyfully declares that she is loved, chosen, and forgiven.
